I was commissioned to make a bag as a gift for someone with the widest of briefs. Must be black, silver hardware and of course, leather! The result was a satchel/cartridge style body with a lid in the style of a saddle flap, lined in a burgundy suede. The metalwork came from reclaimed saddlery and the leather came from the wonderful A W Midgely in Somerset! All hand stitched with linen thread.
